About the Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups gram flour (besan)
¾ cup Madhusudan Desi Ghee
1 cup powdered sugar
¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
2 tablespoons chopped almonds and cashews
1 tablespoon raisins (optional)
Preparation
Step 1: Roast the Gram Flour
Heat a heavy-bottom pan on low flame. Add Madhusudan Desi Ghee and let it melt. Add gram flour and roast on low heat for 12–15 minutes, stirring continuously until golden brown and aromatic.
Step 2: Add Nuts
Add chopped almonds and cashews. Roast for 1–2 minutes for enhanced flavour.
Step 3: Cool & Mix
Turn off the flame and allow the mixture to cool slightly (warm, not hot). Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder. Mix thoroughly.
Step 4: Shape the Ladoos
While still warm, take small portions and shape into round ladoos. Let them set for 20–30 minutes.
