Ingredients
1 litre Madhusudan Full Cream Milk
3 tablespoons basmati rice (washed & soaked for 20 minutes)
4 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
½ teaspoon cardamom powder
10 almonds (chopped)
10 cashews (chopped)
1 tablespoon raisins
5–6 saffron strands (optional)
Preparation
Step 1 – Boil the Milk
Pour Madhusudan Full Cream Milk into a heavy-bottom pan and bring it to a gentle boil on medium heat.
Step 2 – Add Rice
Drain the soaked rice and add it to the boiling milk. Stir continuously so the rice does not stick to the bottom.
Step 3 – Slow Cook
Cook on low flame for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally until the rice becomes soft and the milk thickens.
Step 4 – Add Sweetness & Flavour
Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 5 – Garnish
Add chopped almonds, cashews, and raisins. Stir gently.
Step 6 – Serve
Serve warm or chilled depending on preference.
